The Venditte Rule

What is the Venditte Rule? Each batter, the switch pitcher must declare from which side he will pitch, then the batter gets to adjust. If the pitcher feels the same on both sides and there is no batter on first, then the pitching coach should know which is the better side of the batter against a pitcher. The pitcher must then stay that arm for that batter.

Side Note: This should be changed to allow the pitcher last look. There is no rationale, except to favor switch hitters, to give the batter last look.
